Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation is seeking an Ink Technical Service Rep to provide dedicated technical ink support for customers in OH, NY, MI, and WV. You will drive process improvements, assist with product selection, and train customer staff on ink blending and related processes.

The role requires collaborating with Sun teams and often involves travel for customer engagements. The position emphasizes technical leadership in pressroom and printing processes, with responsibilities spanning project

Qualifications

5-10 years of ink industry experience.
Experience with Kepner Tregoe, Six Sigma, SunMatch.
Industry laboratory and press equipment.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects.
High level of pressroom and printing process knowledge.

Responsibilities

Leads and participates in process improvement initiatives with customers and Sun employees.
Makes product selection decisions in accordance with Product Management based on end use application and conducts trial activities.
Supplies training needs to customer employee base on ink blending and related processes.
Reporting field activity within Salesforce; completes technical call and trial reports.
Submits and follows up regional color match lab requests.
Provides emergency backfill support for products.
