Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation seeks an Ink Technical Service Rep to deliver dedicated technical ink support across OH, NY, MI, and WV. You will guide product selection, offer fitness-for-use guidance, and train customer staff on ink blending and related processes.

You will lead process improvements with customers, manage multiple projects, and report field activity in Salesforce, ensuring timely lab requests and color matching support when needed.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of ink industry experience.
• Experience with Kepner Tregoe, Six Sigma, SunMatch.
• Industry laboratory and press equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects.
• High level of pressroom and printing process knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Leads and participates in process improvement initiatives with customers and Sun employees.
• Makes product selection decisions in accordance with Product Management and conducts trial activities.
• Provides training on ink blending, inventory, work off, and related functions.
• Reports field activity in Salesforce; completes technical call and trial reports.
• Submits and follows up regional color match lab requests.
• Provides emergency backfill support for products in case of sudden loss of customer blending.
