Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation in the United States is seeking an Ink Technical Service Rep to support customers in OH, NY, MI, and WV. You will identify technical and continuous-improvement needs, drive product optimization, and ensure seamless delivery of Sun products and services to our key accounts.

The role requires leading process-improvement initiatives, guiding product selections with Product Management, training customer staff on ink blending and inventory control, and documenting field

Qualifications

5–10 years of ink industry experience.
Experience with Kepner-Tregoe, Six Sigma, and SunMatch.
Experience with industry laboratory and press equipment.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects.
High level of pressroom and printing process knowledge.

Responsibilities

Leads process-improvement projects with customers and Sun employees on press throughput, downtime, inventory, and work-off.
Makes product selection decisions with Product Management; develops custom products and guides fitness for use.
Provides training on ink blending, inventory control, and related functions.
Reports field activity using Salesforce; completes technical and trial reports.
Submits regional color-match lab requests.
Provides emergency backfill support for products.
