Job summary

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is seeking an Information Services Analyst to blend business analysis with quality assurance across software projects. You will elicit requirements, model workflows, test manually and automatically, and ensure accessibility standards are met.

Responsibilities include collaborating with end users, validating designs, creating training materials, and contributing to CI/CD testing within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least two years of progressive experience in requirements specification and quality assurance for software development projects.
• Knowledge of Agile software development process and ability to participate actively in meetings and ticket reviews.
• Ability to elicit complex requirements from customers and document results of systematic tests.
• Exemplary customer service with audience-appropriate communication approaches.
• Understanding of relational databases and ability to write/ troubleshoot SQL queries.
• Experience with automated testing tools and accessibility testing tools (Section 508/WCAG).

Responsibilities

• Analyze business issues, define requirements, design applications, and recommend automated solutions.
• Work with end users to document systems requirements and create workflow models.
• Develop swim-lane workflows and validate wireframes against requirements.
• Create training materials and conduct user acceptance testing.
• Design and execute manual and automated tests across software components.
• Perform 508 accessibility testing using tools and screen-reader verification.
• Identify defects and communicate feedback to developers; improve QA processes.
