Job summary

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health seeks an Information Services Analyst to blend business analysis with quality assurance in an Agile environment. You'll elicit requirements, model workflows, and document systems while ensuring accessibility and data integrity across studies.

The role involves designing test plans, validating automation, and coordinating with data analysts and users to improve data collection and user experience. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least two years of progressive experience with requirements specification and quality assurance for software development projects.
• Knowledge of Agile software development process and ability to participate actively in meetings and ticket reviews.
• Ability to elicit complex requirements from customers (e.g., demonstrated experience documenting results of systematic, structured tests and processes).
• Exemplary customer service, with adaptation to audience-appropriate verbal and written communication approaches.
• Understanding of application object models and relational database concepts for communicating requirements to technical staff.
• Ability to write and troubleshoot straightforward SQL queries joining multiple tables and views.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience with Section 508 accessibility testing tools and WCAG success criteria.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business issues, define requirements, application design, and recommend automated systems and protocols to solve organizational information issues.
• Work closely with end users to analyze, define, model, and document systems requirements.
• Create swim-lane workflow diagrams and validate developers' wireframes against documented workflows and requirements.
• Develop organizational change management framework and conduct user acceptance testing.
• Review data collection instruments for adherence to accepted standards, consistency across studies, and best practices using ArborLinkCore functionality.
• Work with data analysts and users to improve data collection and user experience during a study.
• Leverage AI (e.g. Claude) as both a tool to aid business development and a component for solutions, following organizational guidance and controls.
• Test releases delivered through CI/CD pipelines on an Agile release cadence.
• Perform Section 508 accessibility testing of websites and documents using tools such as ANDI, WAVE, Google Lighthouse, Microsoft Office Accessibility Checker, and Adobe Acrobat accessibility tools, with manual screen-reader verification.
