Job summary

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is seeking an Information Services Analyst to blend business analysis with QA testing across Agile projects. You will elicit requirements, model workflows, and document processes while developing and executing manual and automated tests, including accessibility checks.

Collaboration with data analysts and end users will ensure high-quality, compliant software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least two years of progressive experience with requirements specification and quality assurance for software development projects
• Knowledge of Agile software development process and ability to participate actively in meetings and ticket reviews
• Ability to elicit complex requirements from customers (e.g., demonstrated experience documenting results of systematic, structured tests and processes)
• Exemplary customer service, with adaptation to audience-appropriate verbal and written communication approaches
• Understanding of application object models and relational database concepts for communicating requirements to technical staff
• Ability to write and troubleshoot straightforward SQL queries joining multiple tables and views
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
• Experience with Section 508 accessibility testing tools and WCAG success criteria

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document system requirements from end users
• Develop swim-lane workflow diagrams and validate wireframes against requirements
• Create test plans and test cases for automated validation and verification
• Perform functional, regression, and performance tests to meet design specs
• Test releases delivered through CI/CD pipelines in Agile environments
• Perform Section 508 accessibility testing with accessibility tools and screen readers
• Identify weaknesses in coding and communicate feedback to developers
• Triage, prioritize, reproduce, and track issues to resolution with project team
• Communicate QA status and deliverables across the project life cycle
