Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC is seeking a Sales Representative to drive new business in the Greensboro, NC area. You will prospect, source, and maintain quality customers and work to meet or exceed sales goals through strategic planning and targeted outreach.

You will prepare quotes, proposals, and pricing, manage customer service, and promote products and upgrades while upholding a professional image and Atlas Copco values. Travel up to 35% may be required.

Qualifications

• Four year degree in engineering, business or marketing preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of direct sales experience or customer service experience, industrial equipment sales preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Must be self-directed.
• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
• Have proven business analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, source, and maintain quality customers in assigned area and achieve or exceed sales goals.
• Develop action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects and markets.
• Call on and sell products directly to customers and follow up on leads and referrals.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, pricing, and credit terms; present to customers.
• Maintain professional image and uphold company values of commitment, interaction, and innovation.
