Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC seeks a Product Sales professional in the Austin area to prospect, source and maintain quality customers. The role includes a base salary of $72,000 to $88,000, with monthly commission, annual bonus structure and monthly auto allowance, adjusted geographically.

You will drive service product sales, manage leads, and coordinate with Sales Managers to meet and exceed targets while developing distributors when present.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant industrial sales experience a must, preferably in the compressed air industry.
• Four-year degree in business or marketing or equivalent work experience.
• Must be self-directed with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, source, and maintain quality customers in assigned area.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales goals by developing action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects, targets, and/or markets and to project number of contacts to be made.
• Manage, call on, and sell service products including service plans, fixed pricing repairs, overhauls, etc. to customers in assigned area.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity and as referred by telemarketing activity.
• Establish rapport and maintain regular contact with existing and new customers.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
• Introduce new products and service upgrades.
• Research solutions to customer problems.
• Study customer needs and coordinate prime equipment sales with Sales Managers.
• Support or develop any local distributors when they exist.
• Actively engage in planned prospecting activities geared at increasing the customer base, and continually increase your market share.
• Maintain customer base, sales activities, opportunities, quotations, and leads on a daily basis within C4C.
• Maintains the highest standards of customer service across a service environment.
