Job summary

Post University seeks a Compliance & Contracts Attorney to serve as a key legal advisor to the university’s legal & regulatory team, faculty, and staff. This fully remote role focuses on contracts, regulatory compliance, privacy, and technology matters across online and on-campus programs.

The attorney will draft and negotiate agreements, advise on compliance with regulatory frameworks, and support international and domestic matters as needed, with limited travel (<5%).

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited US law school.
• Admitted to at least one state bar; Connecticut house counsel status an asset.
• 2+ years practicing law; higher education experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate contracts and policies for in-person and online programs.
• Provide advice on contracts, Title IX/ADA, IP, privacy, and data security matters.
• Support compliance with GLBA, GDPR, FERPA, NCAA, TCPA and related laws.
• Conduct legal research and prepare resource materials for training and outreach.
• Collaborate with university stakeholders and respond to student and employee concerns.
