Job summary

Post University is seeking a Compliance & Contracts Attorney to serve as a legal advisor to institutional stakeholders, under University Counsel. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing, revising and negotiating contracts and policies for in-person and online programs, ensuring compliance with law and university policy.

This fully remote position requires strong drafting, research and negotiation skills, with experience in privacy, data security, and higher education compliance, plus the ability

Qualifications

• Must hold a JD from an accredited US law school.
• Admitted and in good standing in at least one state bar; CT house counsel status required.
• Minimum two years of legal practice experience.
• Higher education experience is welcome but not required.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Desire to develop expertise in contract review and key provisions.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate vendor and technology agreements.
• Provide legal advice on compliance, privacy, and regulatory matters.
• Assist with international compliance for international students.
• Support IP, data privacy, IT security, and related contracting.
• Conduct legal research and educate campus stakeholders.
