Post University is seeking a Contract & Compliance Attorney to advise on contracts, Title IX and ADA, privacy, and regulatory matters. The role emphasizes in-house practice, drafting and negotiating agreements, and ensuring compliance across university operations. Remote work with minimal travel (<5%) is available.

The attorney will support a wide range of legal topics, collaborate with stakeholders, and help maintain compliance with FERPA, GDPR, and NCAA guidelines within an expanding educational program.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited US law school.
• Admitted to the bar; Connecticut house counsel status preferred.
• At least two years of legal practice experience.
• Experience in higher education is welcome but not required.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing regulations and work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate vendor, technology, data privacy, and IP agreements.
• Review student communications for regulatory compliance.
• Provide legal advice on ethical operations and compliance.
• Assist with international compliance for international students.
• Support IP matters as requested.
• Conduct legal research and educate the university on regulatory issues.
