Job summary

Itron, Inc. is seeking an Implementation Consultant (Functional/Project Lead) to drive the functional and project management activities for deploying our SaaS platform to enterprise utility customers.

This role leads business process alignment, configuration decisions, and cross‑functional delivery with internal teams and customers. You will oversee timelines, workshops, and stakeholder engagement to ensure on‑time deployment and customer value realization across Utilities & Energy projects with

Qualifications

3+ years in implementation consulting or SaaS deployment.
Experience leading enterprise software implementations.
Ability to translate requirements into configuration solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to facilitate workshops.

Responsibilities

Lead the functional implementation workstream for enterprise deployments from kickoff to go-live.
Own timelines, milestones, risk management, and cross-functional coordination.
Facilitate discovery and requirements workshops to capture business processes and success criteria.
Translate requirements into scalable configuration plans including templates, workflows, and permissions.
Partner with Technical/Solution Consultants to align functional and technical activities.
Lead customer status meetings and steering committees and maintain artifact documentation.
Act as trusted advisor to maximize value from the platform.
