Job summary

EngFlow is seeking an Implementation Engineer to serve as the technical voice for customers during trials and ongoing use. You’ll help integrate and optimize build workflows, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver a world-class experience.

You will engage with customers to scale adoption, surface product feedback, and contribute to documentation. The role emphasizes remote work with periodic meetups and a focus on developer velocity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development, technical support, SRE, or developer-facing roles.
• Strong understanding of developer workflows and build systems (Bazel or Buck/Buck2 is a big plus).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, C++, Java, Python, Rust, or JavaScript).
• Comfortable in a Linux/Unix environment with tools like Docker, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OpenShift).
• Great communicator—able to explain complex technical concepts clearly in writing and on calls.
• Experience writing or contributing to technical documentation or internal knowledge bases.
• Customer-centric mindset with a passion for helping engineers solve tough problems.
• Bonus: experience working with async communication and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for trialing, new, and existing customers—offering guidance as they adopt and scale our platform.
• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve complex issues with build systems, integrations, and environments.
• Help customers optimize their use of EngFlow’s products and ensure smooth adoption within their developer workflows.
• Partner with Engineering to surface and track product bugs, performance regressions, and feature feedback from the field.
• Create and maintain internal and external documentation to improve future support and empower developers.
• Engage with the broader community via forums, Slack, GitHub, and conferences—representing EngFlow’s voice with empathy and technical clarity.
• Contribute to a culture of operational excellence through metrics, tooling improvements, and automation.
