Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Solutions Engineer to showcase Idira’s identity security solutions to Enterprise customers. You’ll lead demos, POCs, and evaluations across hybrid cloud and distributed workforces, translating complex technical concepts into business value.

Working with the sales team, you’ll be the technical advisor, navigate security requirements across Healthcare, Finance, Retail, and more, and travel up to 50% to meet clients and present at industry events.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in pre-sales for identity or security.
• Bachelor's degree in MIS or Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Hands-on cloud administration in AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, LDAP, and federation services.
• Understanding of SSO, MFA, RBAC, and JIT/ZSP models.
• Familiarity with IaC templates (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
• Exposure to endpoint management and least privilege tools.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux, database security, network security, scripting, and DevOps.
• Ability to integrate third-party solutions within complex enterprise environments.
• Experience scripting for automation of demos and tasks.
• Idira experience preferred.
• Certifications: CISSP/CCSP/CEH/Security+/AWS/GCP/Azure Security.
• Travel: up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical pre-sales support on Idira’s Identity Security solutions.
• Develop new technical relationships to drive sales opportunities.
• Lead PoC evaluations for Enterprise customers and prospects.
• Support RFP/RFI responses meeting enterprise requirements.
• Foster long-term relationships with technical teams and executives.
• Enable Idira’s partner network to communicate value to customers.
• Represent Idira via public speaking, webinars, or trade shows.
• Serve as customer advocate and relay requirements to internal teams.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to internal teams when appropriate.
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
