Job summary

JBS International is seeking a Technical Expert II to lead and deliver high-quality training and technical assistance across ICWA initiatives. The role involves coaching staff, coordinating with Tribal, State, and court partners, and translating ICWA requirements into actionable policies and workflows.

The candidate will collaborate with the ICWA Technical Assistance Collaborative and NCWCIA to strengthen implementation, ensure effective TTA, and contribute to continuous quality improvement

Qualifications

• Masters degree in a relevant field.
• At least 15 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in public child welfare systems and practice.
• Experience working with Tribal Nations and Tribal child welfare programs.
• Experience providing technical assistance, consultation, facilitation or coaching.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver training and technical assistance (TTA) for JBS projects and initiatives.
• Provide coaching and guidance to staff and consultants to support high-quality TTA.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with Tribal, State/County, and court partners in ICWA initiatives.
• Translate ICWA requirements into day-to-day policy, workflows and implementation plans.
• Support data-informed practice and continuous quality improvement through AFCARS and related metrics.
