Disc Medicine is seeking a field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to cover the Mid-Atlantic region (NJ, PA, DE, MD, DC, VA, WV, NC, SC). You will build relationships with KOLs, HCPs, and institutions, serving as a scientific resource and supporting research, publications, and education.

Travel within the territory is required. The role emphasizes compliant scientific exchange on hematology and rare diseases, with involvement in advisory boards and cross-functional collaboration to advance

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree required.
• 3+ years in biopharmaceutical industry as an MSL or related field-based medical affairs role.
• Hematology, dermatology, or rare disease experience preferred; product launch experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex science clearly.
• Ability to develop and execute a territory medical plan; work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Intellectually curious, professional, adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate literature.
• Proven ability to build and sustain trusted relationships with KOLs and HCPs.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory guidelines governing medical affairs activities.
• Ability to travel extensively within the territory to engage with KOLs and attend conferences.

Responsabilités

• Scientific Exchange & KOL Engagement with academic and community-based KOLs and HCPs.
• Support hematology, dermatology, hepatology, and rare disease discussions with disease-state data.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests with data presentations.
• Support company-sponsored trials, IITs, research collaborations, and expanded access.
• Gather field insights to inform medical strategy and communicate at regional advisory boards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with guidelines.
