Disc Medicine seeks a field-based Medical Science Liaison to cover the Mid-Atlantic region (NJ, PA, DE, MD, DC, VA, WV, NC, SC). You will advance medical objectives across development programs, building expert networks with KOLs, HCPs, institutions, and payers as a scientific resource through peer-to-peer exchange.

The role emphasizes scientific engagement, clinical trial support, field insights, and advisory boards, with cross-functional collaboration and strict compliance.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a clinical or scientific field.
• 3+ years of biopharmaceutical MSL or related field-based medical affairs experience.
• Experience in hematology, dermatology, or rare disease is preferred and product launch experience is highly valued.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to convey complex concepts clearly.

Responsabilités

• Serve as field-based scientific and clinical resource for Disc Medicine Medical Affairs.
• Identify and develop deep KOL/HCP relationships across hematology, dermatology, hepatology, and rare diseases.
• Engage in compliant peer-to-peer scientific exchange on disease state and patient care challenges.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests and deliver data presentations in various settings.
• Support company-sponsored trials, IITs, research collaborations, and expanded access.
• Gather and communicate actionable field insights to inform Disc Medicine strategy.
• Plan and present regional advisory boards within the territory.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Medical Information, Market Access, and Commercial; provide internal training.
• Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulatory guidelines.
