Disc Medicine is seeking a field-based Medical Science Liaison to cover the Mid-Atlantic region (NJ, PA, DE, MD, DC, VA, WV, NC, SC) with a hybrid work model (remote or from headquarters in Watertown, MA). This MSL will build relationships with KOLs and HCPs across hematology, dermatology, hepatology, and rare diseases, advancing medical objectives of clinical programs.

The role emphasizes compliant scientific exchange, clinical research support, and field insights to inform strategy.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree required.
• 3+ years biopharmaceutical MSL or related field-based medical affairs experience.
• Experience in hematology, dermatology, or rare disease preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Serve as field-based scientific resource and extension of Disc Medicine Medical Affairs.
• Identify and develop deep relationships with academic and community-based KOLs, HCPs, institutions and investigators across hematology, dermatology, hematology, and rare disease communities.
• Engage in compliant peer-to-peer scientific exchange on disease state, unmet medical need, and patient care challenges in EPP and other hematologic diseases.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests and deliver reactive clinical data presentations in one-on-one and group settings.
• Support company-sponsored trials, IITs, research collaborations, and expanded access.
• Gather and communicate actionable field insights from KOL and HCP interactions to inform Disc Medicine strategy.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional colleagues, including Clinical Development, Medical Information, Market Access and Commercial, and provide scientific training to internal teams as appropriate; ensure compliance.
