Disc Medicine is seeking a field-based Medical Science Liaison to cover the Mid-Atlantic territory (NJ, PA, DE, MD, DC, VA, WV, NC, SC). You will build relationships with KOLs, HCPs, and payers, serving as a scientific and clinical resource and advancing hematology, dermatology, or rare disease programs.

The role emphasizes peer-to-peer scientific exchange, travel across the territory, and collaboration with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Market Access.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, DNP, or MSc) or equivalent professional credentials (NP, PA).
• 3+ years biopharmaceutical industry experience as an MSL or related field-based medical affairs role.
• Experience in hematology, dermatology, or rare disease preferred; product launch experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a field-based scientific and clinical resource and customer-facing extension of Disc Medicine Medical Affairs.
• Identify and develop deep relationships with academic and community-based KOLs, HCPs, institutions and investigators across hematology, dermatology, hepatology, and rare disease communities.
• Engage in compliant peer-to-peer scientific exchange on disease state, unmet medical need, and patient care challenges in EPP and other hematologic diseases.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests and deliver reactive clinical data presentations in various settings.
• Support company-sponsored trials, IITs, research collaborations, and expanded access.
• Gather field insights to inform Disc Medicine strategy and plan regional advisory boards.
