Job summary

Leap Group Network in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Junior Government Partnerships & Task Order Specialist to supportFederal contracting pursuits and partner relationships. The role combines business development, capture support, and coordination of teaming activities, with travel as needed.

The successful candidate will build strong relationships with prime contractors and government stakeholders, manage task orders, and collaborate with proposal teams to drive pursuit decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Government, Contract Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in federal government contracting, government business development, capture, teaming, subcontracting, task order management, or related field.
• Experience with federal subcontracting and developing or supporting teaming relationships.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills with government stakeholders and partners.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and engage potential teaming partners and subcontractors for federal and SLED pursuits, with focus on federal subcontracting.
• Coordinate the teaming process by supporting outreach, NDAs, agreements, documentation, and pricing discussions.
• Build and maintain relationships with prime contractors, subcontractors, government stakeholders, and other partners.
• Manage day-to-day activity for awarded contract vehicles, task orders, and vendor pools, including tracking and compliance.
• Monitor portals, forecasts, and procurement activity for upcoming task orders; support bid decisions and capture activities.
• Activate awarded vehicles through outreach with buyers and internal teams; coordinate efforts.
• Research conferences and events to coordinate participation.
• Research subcontracting and partnership opportunities and provide recommendations for pursuit decisions.
• Track pipeline and win rates; update leadership on activity and deadlines.
• Collaborate with BD and proposal teams to move opportunities through capture and proposal processes.
