Job summary

Leap Group Network seeks a Junior Government Partnerships & Task Order Specialist to turn government connections into opportunities. You will grow our federal presence by engaging primes, subcontractors, and government stakeholders, while supporting pursuit strategies and contract vehicle activity.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, research, and coordination across teams, with hybrid remote work and periodic travel to client meetings and industry events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in federal contracting, government business development, capture, teaming, subcontracting, or task order management.
• Experience with federal subcontracting and developing or supporting teaming relationships.
• Familiarity with contract vehicles and procurement processes (FAR knowledge).
• Experience supporting capture activities, bids, pricing, or related government BD efforts.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills with government stakeholders and contractors.
• Willingness to travel periodically for meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and engage potential teaming partners and subcontractors for federal pursuits.
• Coordinate the teaming process by supporting partner outreach, NDAs, teaming agreements, and pricing discussions.
• Build and maintain relationships with prime contractors, subcontractors, government stakeholders, and other partners.
• Manage day-to-day activity for awarded contract vehicles, task orders, and vendor pools.
• Monitor client portals, forecasts, and procurement activity for upcoming task orders; support bid decisions and pricing activities.
• Assist with activation of awarded vehicles through outreach with buyers and internal teams.
• Research conferences and industry events and coordinate participation as needed.
• Track pipeline, win rates, and deadlines; provide updates to leadership.
• Collaborate with BD and proposal teams to move opportunities through capture and proposal processes.
