Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines in Southern California. The role supports an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and facilitating new business, with a focus on policy administration, billing, claims, and renewals.

The position is hybrid, with locations in Aliso Viejo, Los Angeles County, Ontario, San Diego, or Santa Barbara. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance, plus an active P&C

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty (P&C) license required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, focusing on retention and new business support.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analyses; monitor expirations and renewals.
• Communicate regularly with the account team to track workload and service delivery.
• Ensure data accuracy in agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
