Job summary

Startek is recruiting for our Energy Distribution team. We are looking for Administration & Data Entry Consultants to join the Billing, New Connections and Retailer Support Gas and Electricity teams.

You will efficiently process meter readings and billing transactions and resolve anomalies. You will handle retailer and network user inquiries, apply procedures to ensure timely processing within regulatory timeframes, and communicate with client support teams and retailers.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, administration or data entry experience within a utilities company (Gas/Electricity) – advantageous
• Previous Experience with Microsoft Excel – advantageous
• Sound business judgement and decision-making ability
• Effective and appropriate communication skills, both written and oral
• Attention to detail, accuracy and strong data entry skills
• Ability to prioritise and time management skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Self-motivation and a team player
• Flexibility to shift focus and switch tasks to meet regulatory deadlines

Responsibilities

• Process meter reading and billing transactions
• Resolve meter reading and billing anomalies
• Generate and deliver accurate consumption billing data to retailers and network users
• Handle retailer and network user enquiries, requests and complaints within regulatory requirements
• Communicate with client support teams and retailers following documented procedures
