Job summary

Perch Energy is hiring a Billing Analyst II to manage end-to-end monthly billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while partnering with Operations and other teams. You will support data readiness, quality control, and issue resolution across billing workflows.

The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with billing systems and data analysis experience. Remote-first culture with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years in billing operations or related analytical role.
• Strong data accuracy and analytical abilities.
• Experience with Salesforce/Zuora/Stripe preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills; SQL knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute assigned components of monthly billing cycles, including tracking work requests and coordinating dependencies.
• Own billing readiness tracking and proactively identify risks and dependencies that could impact billing timelines or accuracy.
• Identify projects and accounts approaching first bill cycles and ensure billing, utility, and operational data are complete and ready.
• Investigate and resolve complex billing issues by analyzing data and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality control checks across billing, transfer, production, and utility data.
• Review and validate billing adjustments for completeness and documentation.
