Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to support a diverse book of business. The role blends client service, policy administration, and renewal activity in a hybrid-enabled environment.

The ideal candidate will hold an active P&C license (CIC or equivalent preferred) and have 3–5 years of account management experience, with strong analytical and communication skills. IOA offers growth, competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues, and ensuring data accuracy.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team and ensure timely policy administration, billing, and renewals.
• Renewals: conduct client research, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and coordinate collections as needed.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Provide proactive service and maintain clear communication with the team.
