Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book, retain clients, and coordinate service delivery. You will handle policy administration, billing, claims, renewals, and proposals while maintaining strong client relationships.

This hybrid role offers 1 day in the Binghamton or Syracuse office or full remote for Eastern/Central Time Zones. Active P&C license is required; CIC designation preferred.

Qualifications

• Active property & casualty licensing is required.
• 3–5 years account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book and support new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Prepare submissions, negotiate covers, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the team.
• Deliver proactive service and uphold policy compliance.
