Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, retain accounts, and support new business. You will coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolve complex issues, and ensure accuracy.

Hybrid preferred with 1 day in the Binghamton, NY or Syracuse, NY office, or fully remote for residents in Eastern or Central Time Zones. An active property and casualty license is required; CIC designation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active property & casualty (P&C) license required.
• 5+ years in insurance industry or 3-5 years in account management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Monitor policy expirations and renewals; manage client research and proposals.
• Maintain agency management systems and ensure data accuracy.
