Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Pre-sales engineer to lead design, cost estimation, and scope development for Metasys BAS solutions across North America. The role is remote within the United States, supporting South Atlantic markets with collaboration from sales and operations teams.

You will develop detailed project cost data, liaise with subcontractors, and provide technical sales assistance during the sales process, ensuring value engineering and risk management are integrated into proposals.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of controls sales/operations experience with HVAC systems and BAS cost development.
• Must be able to work on US restricted projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales design and cost estimation for BAS solutions across North America.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and subcontractors to develop and present solutions.
• Manage project cost data through booking and turnover processes.
• Provide technical sales support and develop value-engineering options.
• Ensure adherence to project development processes and QA/QC policies.
