Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a seasoned pre-sales engineer to support Metasys BAS solutions across North America. This remote role targets candidates with HVAC BAS cost development experience and strong analytical skills, adaptable to diverse markets from the US South Atlantic region. You'll work with sales to optimize designs and costs.

The position focuses on design, estimation, and value engineering, with a competitive bonus plan and comprehensive benefits. Remote work within the US is supported.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years plus controls sales/operations experience with HVAC systems and BAS project cost development.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated computer and analytical skills.
• Background in JCI installation operations as Application Engineer or Installation Sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales engineering, design and estimation during project design or proposal phase.
• Value engineering and cost optimization; liaise with sub-contractors and vendors.
• Lead pre-sales development for Metasys BAS across the South Atlantic; manage cost data through bidding and booking.
