Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Senior Pre-sales Engineer to join the Central GCoE team. This remote role supports the South Atlantic markets, providing pre-sales design, cost development, value engineering and vendor coordination.

You will lead design support, cost estimates, BIM/AS design, RFPs, and ensure alignment with sales. The job includes QA/QC, risk management, and collaboration with subcontractors, suppliers and the OpenBlue digital team.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years plus controls sales/operations experience with HVAC systems and project cost development of BAS (ATC/BMS).
• Must be able to work on US restricted projects.

Responsibilities

• Pre-sales design support and cost development for BAS solutions.
• Cost estimation, value engineering and scope development.
• Liaise with subcontractors, vendors and QA/QC activities.
• Coordinate pre-bid and pre-book estimate reviews and manage cost data through booking.
• Support sales with technical value proposition and customer presentations.
