Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an HV Training and Technical Support Specialist. This fully remote role supports OCC/O&M processes and develops HV training materials. Responsibilities emphasize safety, documentation, and collaboration with clients and team members. Expect on-call duties and remote EPC/O&M support as needed.

The position requires 10+ years in Testing and Commissioning, strong English communication, and a commitment to SOLV’s safety and inclusion standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 10+ Years of Testing and Commissioning Experience.
• Demonstrated ability to train and develop others.
• Demonstrated ability to recognize work hazards and mitigate.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• Effective organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a rotational on-call schedule (weekends or after-hours).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicle.
• CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Stresses safety as the most important function and ensures adherence to safe practices.
• Ensure a safe working environment through strict safety standards.
• Understand, follow, and communicate safety regulations and work procedures.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and teammates.
• Champion diversity, equity and inclusion as part of SOLV culture.
• Develop HV Technical Training Material with Technical Support Supervisor and others.
• Support OCC with Power Systems Analysis and Operational guidance.
• Assist in generating and approving test plans for technicians/subcontractors.
