Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an HV Training and Technical Support Specialist to support daily OCC/O&M workflows and develop HV training materials. This fully remote role will discuss location expectations during interview, with responsibilities spanning safety leadership, technical training material creation, and remote guidance for HV operations.

Ideally, you bring 10+ years in testing and commissioning, and strong English communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of testing and commissioning experience.
• Ability to train and develop others.
• Hazard recognition and mitigation using proper tools/procedures.
• Effective computer operation and testing applications.
• Strong English verbal and written communication.
• Good organizational skills.
• Rotational on-call schedule (weekends/after-hours possible).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicle.
• CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Develop HV training material with Technical Support Supervisor and team.
• Provide HV support to OCC and field technicians.
• Prepare and approve test plans for technicians or subcontractors.
• Review HV Test Reports for acceptance and maintenance testing.
• Provide On-Call and daytime HV support to OCC and field staff.
• Remote support for EPC startup, commissioning, and O&M activities.
• Offer SME guidance to clients and present RCA findings.
