Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks an HV Training and Technical Support Specialist to support daily OCC/O&M workflows and develop HV training materials. The role is fully remote with interview discussions for location expectations.

You will champion safety, create training content, and assist with HV testing plans and reports while providing SME guidance to clients. Qualified candidates will have extensive testing/commissioning experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work on-call.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 10+ Years of Testing and Commissioning Experience.
• Demonstrated ability to train and develop others.
• Demonstrated ability to recognize work hazards and mitigate.
• Effective computer operation and ability to operate system testing applications.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a rotational on-call schedule.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and ensure compliance with safety standards on all projects.
• Provide HV technical training materials in collaboration with Supervisors and SOLV teams.
• Support OCC with Power Systems Analysis and operational guidance.
• Assist in creation and approval of HV test plans for technicians or subcontractors.
• Review and approve HV Test Reports for Acceptance and Maintenance Testing activities.
• Provide On-Call and daytime HV Support to OCC and Field Technicians.
• Remote support for EPC Startup, Commissioning, O&M testing and commissioning as needed.
• Offer SME advice to clients and contribute to RCA findings and corrective actions for HP issues.
