Job summary

SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services for the power industry, and is seeking a HV Training and Technical Support Specialist. This fully remote role supports OCC/O&M processes and develops HV training materials with a focus on safety and reliability.

The position involves remote support for HV testing, commissioning, and field activities, plus SME guidance to clients and RCA preparation. Strong English communication and training abilities are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of testing and commissioning experience.
• Proven ability to train and develop others.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to work in rotational on-call schedule.
• CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Safety is the top priority and enforced across teams.
• Develop HV technical training material with supervisors and others.
• Support the OCC with Power Systems Analysis and guidance.
• Prepare test plans for technicians or subcontractors.
• Occasionally review HV Test Reports and approvals.
• Provide on-call HV support and daytime support.
• Remote support for EPC startup, commissioning, and testing.
• Provide SME advice to clients and assist RCA findings.
• Support NERC misoperations reports and corrective actions.
