Zusammenfassung

MeshGrid HR is seeking an experienced Lead Substation Engineer to provide technical leadership across high‑voltage substation and balance‑of‑plant projects. You will guide engineering activities from proposal support through detailed design, construction, and project closeout.

You will serve as the primary technical interface with project teams, customers, vendors, and engineering disciplines while ensuring designs meet technical, schedule, safety, and quality requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years designing HV transmission/substation projects.
• Strong understanding of HV/MV equipment and layouts.
• Familiarity with North American standards (IEEE/ANSI/NEC/NESC).

Aufgaben

• Lead engineering activities from concept through construction for HV substations and balance‑of‑plant projects.
• Develop and review substation design packages (SLDs, general arrangements, grounds, bus layouts).
• Coordinate schedules, reviews, risks, quality requirements, and design changes.
• Prepare equipment specs and technical data sheets for transformers, breakers, and HV equipment.
• Support construction with RFIs and field issue resolution.
