Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an HV SCADA Engineer II to support design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of high voltage SCADA systems for utility-scale renewable projects. The role offers remote work with offices in Bend, OR; San Diego, CA; or Raleigh, NC and ~20% onsite travel.

Responsibilities include SCADA system development, RTAC/Phasor Data Concentrators, HMI programming, and coordination with utilities and vendors while maintaining safety and NERC standards.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical/controls engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years SCADA experience with substations preferred.
• Ability to read electrical single-line diagrams and equipment drawings.
• Knowledge of protection relays and power meters.
• Experience with SCADA networks and industrial protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, test, and commission HV SCADA systems for substations.
• Coordinate with utility providers for interconnects and demarcation.
• Support on-site commissioning and field installation activities.
• Ensure NERC compliance and safety practices.
• Provide technical support to vendors and project teams.
