Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an HV SCADA Engineer II to support design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of high voltage SCADA systems on utility-scale renewable and substation projects. This role can be fully remote or based in Bend, OR, San Diego, CA, or Raleigh, NC, with location details discussed in interview.

Responsibilities include SCADA design support, RTAC/PCAs/HMI programming, substation networking, and on-site commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of SCADA engineering experience, substation focus preferred.
• Ability to read electrical single-line drawings and layout diagrams.
• Knowledge of protection relays and power meters.

Responsibilities

• Review SCADA system requirements for substations on renewable projects.
• Support SCADA design development and drawings to meet specs.
• Program and commission RTACs, PCAs, and HMI systems.
• Coordinate network settings and IP assignments for substation equipment.
• Travel up to 20% for on-site work as needed.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to NERC standards.
