Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an HV SCADA Engineer II to support design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of high voltage SCADA systems on utility-scale solar, storage, and substations projects. Remote work is possible with options for Bend, OR; San Diego, CA; or Raleigh, NC offices.

The role requires 2–4 years of SCADA experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with RTAC, HMI, and SCADA networks. Travel up to 20% for on-site work is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical/Controls engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years SCADA engineering experience with substations preferred.
• Ability to read electrical single-line, equipment layouts, and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Review SCADA requirements for substations on renewable and storage projects.
• Design, program, and commission HV SCADA systems and RTACs.
• Coordinate network settings and IP assignments for substation equipment.
• Troubleshoot communication between devices and controllers.
• Provide on-site commissioning support and customer interaction.
• Maintain safety and compliance per NERC and SOLV standards.
