Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities. This remote role requires heavy travel to varying job sites.

Specific location details will be discussed during the interview process. Responsibilities include safety leadership, accurate documentation, and performing complex transformer and circuit breaker tests per NETA standards while collaborating with clients and

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma or GED.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
Demonstrated ability to recognize hazards and mitigate using proper tools and procedures.
Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to work at remote locations in extreme weather conditions.
On-call availability including weekends or after-hours.

Responsibilities

Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety standards.
Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
Assemble, write and review a complete test report of the work performed or supervised.
Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and teammates.
Identify and assess safety and technical capabilities of other technicians.
