Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair at substations, BESS and PV facilities. The role is remote with heavy travel to diverse jobsites.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, be able to travel 75%, and demonstrate safety discipline, strong English communication, and the ability to work at remote sites in extreme weather.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Ability to work at remote locations in extreme weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CPR/First Aid training.
• Knowledge of Electrical Testing SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substation, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
• Assemble, write, and review complete test reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and teammates.
• Complete a job with the assistance of Technicians and Trainees.
