Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.

The role is remote with heavy travel to varying job sites; travel approx. 75% of the time. Candidates should have strong safety discipline and be capable of producing detailed test reports. Ongoing training and in-field collaboration are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Ability to travel about 75% of the time.
• Recognize work hazards and mitigate using proper tools and procedures.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• Operate safely in remote locations and extreme weather.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CPR/First Aid training.
• Familiarity with electrical testing SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of substation, BESS and PV facilities.
• Follow safety regulations and enforce safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and reports.
• Assemble, write and review test reports for performed work.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors and teammates.
• Provide guidance to Technicians and Trainees.
