Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning and troubleshooting in substations, BESS and PV facilities. The role is remote with heavy travel to various jobsites.

Specific location details will be discussed during the interview. The position emphasizes safety, documentation and testing accuracy, with travel up to 75%. Requires 1–3 years’ experience as an electrician testing technician and a valid driver’s license; CPR/First Aid and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
1–3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
Ability to travel 75% of the time.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
CPR/First Aid training, Job Safety Analysis, Electrical Testing SOPs.

Responsibilities

Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substation, BESS and PV facilities.
Ensure a safe working environment through strict adherence to safety standards.
Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
Assemble, write, and review a complete test report.
Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and teammates.
