Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to conduct testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities. This remote role requires extensive travel to diverse job sites throughout the United States.

You will perform acceptance testing, work with Technicians and Trainees, and support safety and quality procedures while upholding SOLV Energy’s diversity and inclusion values.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time.
• Able to work at remote job sites in varying weather conditions.
• CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of Safety Analysis and Electrical Testing SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in the substation, BESS and PV facilities.
• Complete tasks with assistance from Technicians and Trainees.
