Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs in substations, BESS, and PV facilities.

This role is remote with heavy travel to diverse job sites, and you will work with Technicians and Trainees to complete each project. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years as an electrician testing technician, strong English communication, and the ability to work in remote locations in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 years experience as electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work at remote locations in extreme weather.
• CPR/First Aid training, Job Safety Analysis, Electrical Testing SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment remotely, with on-site support as needed.
• Complete jobs with technicians and trainees, ensuring safety and quality procedures.
• Uphold SOLV Energy diversity and inclusion in daily work.
