Job summary

SOLV Energy is looking for a Commissioning Engineer to lead testing and commissioning for utility-scale high-voltage substations and battery storage systems. This role involves project management interface, ensuring compliance with safety standards and performing high-voltage switching operations. Candidates should possess substantial experience in electrical engineering, mainly related to HV fields.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of HV substations, BESS, and utility‑scale PV facilities.
• 3–4 years of experience performing and directing high‑voltage switching operations.
• 1–2 years of experience developing commissioning plans, energization procedures, and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support testing, commissioning, and initial energization activities for HV substations and BESS.
• Develop Testing & Commissioning Plans aligned with project specifications.
• Perform high‑voltage switching operations required for commissioning activities.
