Job summary

A La C.A.R.T.E. Solutions is seeking an HR Manager Consultant to deliver comprehensive HR support across diverse client industries.

You will collaborate with the CHRO - Client Services and multiple departments to advise on employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compensation, and benefits while ensuring employment-law compliance. You will adapt to different client cultures and organizational structures, serving as a trusted advisor in a fully remote, home-office environment with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in consulting or professional services.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
• Expertise in CA employment laws required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand HR requirements, challenges, and goals.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compensation, and benefits.
• Develop tailored HR policies and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Address employee relations issues and conduct investigations with recommendations.
• Support talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies.
• Develop performance evaluation frameworks and support appraisal processes.
• Stay updated on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Identify training needs and facilitate HR-related workshops.
• Administer benefits programs and manage open enrollments and LOA/FMLA requests.
• Assess HR technology needs and optimize HRIS and related tools.
