Job summary

A La C.A.R.T.E. Solutions is seeking an HR Manager Consultant to provide comprehensive HR support to multiple clients across industries.

You will collaborate with the CHRO and various departments, serving as a trusted advisor on employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and benefits while ensuring legal adherence. This fully remote role requires 5+ years in HR, HRIS experience, and CA employment law knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field required; master's preferred.
• 5+ years in HR roles, consulting or professional services preferred.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred; CA employment law expertise required.
• Experience with multiple client environments and HR best practices.
• Strong analytical, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Consultation and advisory services with clients on HR requirements, challenges and goals.
• Policy development and implementation aligned with client objectives and legal requirements.
• Address employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and grievances; conduct investigations.
• Talent acquisition and onboarding support including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
• Develop performance evaluation frameworks and assist in appraisals; improve engagement and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local employment laws; ensure policy compliance and prepare for audits.
• Identify training needs and develop customized HR programs; facilitate workshops on HR topics.
• Administer employee benefits programs and coordinate open enrollments; LOA/FMLA/STD/LTD handling.
• Assess HR technology needs and optimize HRIS and other software solutions.
