Job summary

A La C.A.R.T.E. Solutions is seeking an experienced HR Manager Consultant for a fully remote role.

You will provide comprehensive HR support to diverse clients, collaborating with our CHRO - Client Services and cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, effective HR solutions. You will advise on employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compensation, and benefits; develop policies; handle investigations; support talent retention and succession planning while staying current with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• At least 5+ years in HR, consulting or professional services.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
• Expertise in California employment laws required.
• Experience with non-profit organizations a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand HR requirements, challenges, and goals.
• Provide guidance on HR topics including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compensation, and benefits.
• Develop tailored HR policies and ensure compliance; implement and communicate policies.
• Address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and propose resolutions.
• Support recruitment and onboarding processes; advise on retention and succession planning.
• Develop performance evaluation frameworks and assist with appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; support audits.
• Identify training needs and develop customized training programs; facilitate workshops.
• Administer benefits programs and LOA/FMLA/STD/LTD requests.
• Assess HR technology needs and implement HRIS and other tools.
