Job summary

A La C.A.R.T.E. Solutions is recruiting an HR Manager Consultant to provide comprehensive HR support to diverse clients nationwide from a home office. You will advise CHRO and client teams on employee relations, policy development, recruitment, and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HR, a solid consulting background, and strong knowledge of CA employment laws. The role offers remote work, flexible scheduling, and a collaborative, client-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field (master's preferred).
• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in consulting or professional services.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
• Expertise in CA employment laws required.
• Experience with non-profit organizations a plus.
• HR consulting or generalist experience serving multiple clients.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand HR needs, challenges, and goals.
• Develop tailored HR policies, procedures, and practices.
• Address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and provide recommendations.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and interview coordination for clients.
• Develop performance evaluation frameworks and support appraisals.
• Ensure HR practices comply with laws and regulations across clients.
• Identify training needs and develop customized programs.
• Administer benefits programs and assist with open enrollment.
