Job summary

A La C.A.R.T.E. Solutions is seeking an HR Manager Consultant to provide comprehensive HR support to diverse clients across industries.

You will collaborate with our CHRO - Client Services and various departments to deliver compliant, people-centric HR services. You will advise on employee relations, recruitment, performance management, benefits, and training while developing policies and ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in consulting or professional services.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
• Expertise in CA employment laws.
• Experience with non-profit organizations a plus.
• Proven HR consulting or generalist experience across multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand HR requirements, challenges, and goals.
• Provide guidance on HR topics: employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compensation and benefits.
• Develop tailored HR policies, procedures, and practices; implement and communicate them.
• Address employee relations issues; conduct investigations and provide resolutions.
• Support talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies; advise on succession planning.
• Develop performance evaluation frameworks and assist in appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws; assist in audits and investigations.
• Identify training needs and develop customized programs; facilitate HR workshops.
• Administer benefits programs and manage open enrollment and LOA processes.
• Assess HR technology needs and assist in implementing HRIS and related tools.
